From the upcoming ‘Memorabilia’ EP…Sau Poler is a Catalan talent, fusing the past with the future.
Sure, those oscillating electronic vibes transport you someplace new, but Sau Poler’s work also delves into some familiar Fender Rhodes grooves.
New EP ‘Memorabilia’ is something of a departure, as the producer admits: “I’ve start to experiment more and more with electronic sounds, and feeling really excited about that. It’s the reason I’ve decide to invest on new equipment, aiming to work on longer song structures that can lay on different spots during the track length.”
Clash is able to premiere new cut ‘Signes’, and it leans out towards the six minute mark. Explorations in sound, the jazz-tinged flourishes of the Rhodes keyboard sit alongside some sparkling electronic production.
